Are you a young filmmaker, actor or screenwriter in the spelthorne area?

Submit your short films (1-20 minutes in length) to filmfestival@ashfordyouthclub.co.uk to see them premiered on Saturday the 11th October in Staines-Upon-Thames’ Elmsleigh Center and Staines Library, and potentially win awards at the awards show that evening. The day will feature talks and workshops from industry professionals, who will also be part of a voting jury to give out awards.

RULES FOR SUBMISSION

-Must be 1-20 minutes long.

-Must be submitted by (deadline)

-You must be from the local area (Spelthorne)

-Must not use generative AI in any way.

-Must not include racist/sexist/homophobic content.

-Must not use footage from existing works.

-Can be animated or live action.

-You can be any age and submit your film.

If you are interested in directing, editing or starring in these short films, Ashford Youth Centre will be running a series of support evenings for people to meet others and create production teams to create their short films. There will also be a support evening for editing your film.
